New Delhi, August 01, 2012: Nikon India, the 100% subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, today announced the launch of its Nikon Sport Optics range of Binoculars, Fieldscopes, Laser Rangefinders that feature several advanced optical features. All the models incorporate legendary Nikon technology that provides users with unparalleled optical and mechanical performance. Built on Nikon's eminence as the global leader in precision optics, the new range of binoculars are a perfect offering for any virtual application, making it easy to find brilliant, impeccable optics for the customer’s specific needs.

 

The Nikon Sport Optics attains its paramount with the EDG series of Binoculars and Fieldscopes. The EDG Binoculars have Nikon’s many leading-edge lens technologies including ED glass, dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating and advanced multilayer coating which delivers a spectacular field of view. Other than the common EDG series features Nikon has also incorporated the lens-shift type VR (Vibration Reduction) system into some of the EDG series Fieldsecopes for the first time in the world[1] giving exquisite, clear viewing to the very edge of your field of view.  Other aspects, such as exacting lens and prism construction ensures sharper, brighter images to intensify the consumers viewing experience.

The Nikon Sport optics range includes an extensive lineup— including several of the world's most popular series, binoculars, the finest Fieldscopes and interchangeable eyepieces along with best of breed optical equipment.

Magnification is usually considered most important, but field of view, brightness, ease of handling (weight, feel, ergonomics), suitability for eyeglass wearers and overall construction should also be taken into account.
