Being a responsible corporate citizen, we stand in solidarity with the community we live and operate. Our thoughts are with everyone who is fighting or contributing towards the fight against the pandemic. We know this situation has affected everyone differently and will have a lasting impact on society. Against all odds, however, we see hope in our resilience. To navigate these unprecedented times, we have initiated some CSR activities that we, believe can help address one of the steepest challenges of our time. We believe that education, healthcare, basic amenities, and environmental conservation are imperative to the development of any nation, and command special attention in times of distress. Aligned with the belief, we have partnered with four Non-Profit organizations for year 2020-2021 CSR activations.

For over two years, Nikon continues to support 40 orphan children through four Family Homes two each in SOS Children’s Village Raipur and Bhubaneswar, by providing them with long term home environment care enabling them to become independent and contributing members of society. These family homes ensure that these children have basic amenities, such as nutritious food, clothing, shelter, healthcare & medication along with the holistic development and empowerment through need-based capacity building programmes, educational support, career counseling, psycho-social counseling, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Aiming to inspire students to become ambassadors of change & appreciate nature, this program serves as a platform where students get to know the nearby forest – fringe area and importance of wildlife flora and fauna conservation and preserving of these spaces along side.

Consecutively for 2 years we are providing financial support and photography skills development to students/professionals from disadvantaged households through Buddy4study scholarship program. We aim to empower them in developing skills helping them earn livelihood through employment and entrepreneurial market – ready skills.  

With an intent to help Government in combating the current health emergency spread across the Nation and to bring some positive impact in the community, we contributed towards PM Cares Fund.
