Provided Dual Desks to Schools of Gurgaon Municipal Corporation

NEW DELHI, 2nd July, 2018: Nikon India, 100% subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, leaders in imaging technology continues its contribution in building a resourceful education set-up for children in India. In FY 2017-2018 Nikon India partnered with Gurgaon Municipal Corporation Schools and Vishwas Vidyalaya in Gurgaon to provide them better infrastructural facilities.

Started in 2014-2015, Nikon India focused on providing access to high quality educational infrastructure to children, thus initiating sustainable development of the society. Supporting the belief that every child has a right to meaningful and quality education the company provided School Bus with hydraulic lift to Vishwas Vidyalaya, helping special needs children with a safe and secure mode of transportation. They also donated coloured printer to the institution for printing reading/learning materials for school students.

Additionally, Nikon India provided 3216 dual desks in various schools of Gurgaon Municipal Corporation to provide the students with basic infrastructure in schools.

This is the fourth continuous year of Nikon India embarking on CSR projects to not only augment the educational facilities but also aid in employment enhancing skills.
